UPDATE: The southbound lanes of the Pat Bay have reopened and the crash scene cleared.

A multi-vehicle crash on the Pat Bay Highway has snarled southbound traffic.
The crash occurred near Halliburton Road just before 2 p.m. Sunday afternoon.
Drive BC is reporting that southbound traffic is down to one lane.

Motorist are reporting very heavy traffic.
The driver of the white SUV, who fell asleep at the wheel, crashed into the back of a motorcycle, then crashed in to the side of a bus. The motorcyclist suffered injuries and was transported to hospital.
