Local business owners NEED to attend this workshop happening in Victoria on Thursday

Share

Here at Victoria Buzz, we love to see local businesses succeed.

And that’s why we think entrepreneurs in Victoria will want to check out Think Local First’s upcoming Business Transition Workshop.

On Thursday, Think Local First is hosting a practical workshop focusing on how to transition from running your own business to exiting it profitably by following a three-step process.

The transition process was developed from recent research conducted at Colwood’s Royal Roads University by Associate Professor Michael Thompson and Veronon Fisher of Fisher Financial Services.

The pair distilled the research down into a three step process that can help entrepreneurs plan the future and direction of their businesses.

The workshop will include additional presentations from other experts in their fields, free refreshments, and a brief coffee break.

Think Local First is a Victoria based non-profit organization that supports local businesses and encourages residents to shop in their own community.

The organization also has a free app that lets people support the Victoria business scene by highlights community shops, and features a point system that can be redeemed for discounts at locally-owned businesses.

Tickets for the workshop can be purchased online and are $25 for current Think Local First Members and $35 for non-members.
