These activities are taking place in the parking lot located off Hillside Avenue.

The One Night Only Concert Series ft. Jesse Roper
Tonight marks the start of Phillips Brewing & Malting Co’s One Night Only Concert Series!
Why wait all summer for The Phillips Backyard Weekender when you could be having a blast in The Phillips Brewery Backyard? The massive and beloved loading-bay-turned-main-stage kicks off early than ever this year, right in the heart of downtown Victoria. The concert series kicks off with talented local musician Jesse Roper!

Yes and Yesteryear: An Improvised Jane Austen at Emily Carr House
Victoria’s Emily Carr House is the perfect locale for some improvised Victorian-era comedy!
Join Paper Street’s cast of landed gentry as they attempt to improvise their way through the conventions and manners of proper society and all the unforeseen complications such constraints provide. Tickets also include complementary lemonade and cucumber sandwiches.

Victoria Pride Parade 2019
The two most exuberant events in town – the Victoria Pride Parade and Festival – are officially a quarter of a century old, and will be celebrating it’s 25th anniversary in style this year!
For this year’s pride parade, join thousands of people as they walk down Government street in celebration of love and the LGBQT2 community.
If you can’t make it downtown but still want to watch the parade, don’t worry, we have you covered! For the first time ever, Victoria Buzz will be livestreaming the entire uproarious affair on our Facebook page, in partnership with the Downtown Victoria Business Association (DVBA), Sitka Law Group, and You Move Me.

Victoria Pride Festival 2019
While the Pride parade is a community favourite event, the festivities don’t stop there!
After the parade, head down to MacDonald Park for a free-for-all-ages party that features two stages of music and entertainment, a cash-only beer garden (ATMs on site), multiple food trucks, a giant vendor area, and a kids’ camp!

Saanich Strawberry Festival
The 53rd annual Saanich Strawberry Festival has returned today! The festival is a FREE family event that highlights strawberries in all their delicious glory.
What started as a celebration of the municipality’s agricultural roots has now grown into a vastly popular yearly festival that feature a range of family-friendly activities like face painting, arts and crafts stations, bouncy castles, live entertainment, and more.
