Kings, Queens, and In-Betweens Drag Panel

Head down to Bolen Books for a fabulous night of books and drag, as Tanya Boteju joins forces with local Drag Kings and Queens Chaz Avery, Eddi Licious, and more to discuss her new book, Kings, Queens, and In-Betweens from Simon & Schuster!

Involved in the drag scene herself as a young person, Boteju describes her book as “a love letter to the drag community as well as to young, queer, brown kids”, citing the need for more diverse and hopeful stories, especially in children’s queer literature. The event is FREE and suitable for all ages. Come all glammed up and dressed in your most spectacular outfits!

  • When: 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
  • Where: Bolen Books – Hillside Shopping Centre, 1644 Hillside Avenue
