Police are looking for a missing 43-year-old Vancouver Island woman (UPDATED)

A 43-year-old Nanaimo woman, Rhonda Stevenson, who was reported missing on July 17th has been located by Nanaimo RCMP.

No details on her condition were provided by police.

Earlier:

Nanaimo RCMP are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing 43-year-old woman, Rhonda Stevenson.

Stevenson was last seen leaving central Nanaimo on Saturday, July 13th, and has not returned. Investigators now believe she may be in the Lower Mainland.

Nanaimo RCMP say that their investigation will continue until they or other police officers can speak with her in person.

In 2016, Stevenson was reported missing from the Grandview Park area of East Vancouver by Vancouver Police.

At the time, Vancouver Police said that she had ties to both the Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island and that she could be in either of those places.

Rhonda Stevenson is described as a Caucasian female who stands 5’ 4” and weighs approximately 99 pounds. She has brown hair and hazel eyes.
