With Victoria experiencing dense foggy skies today, Harbour Air and Helijet have been forced to cancel or delay many of their flights due to poor visibility.
From 7 a.m. to 9 a.m., Harbour Air cancelled all of their flights between Victoria Harbour and Vancouver Harbour.
As the morning progressed,the weather had still not cleared, causing Harbour Air to delay their 11:00 a.m. flights from Vancouver and Victoria.
The airline is advising that passengers keep an eye on their schedule in case of more delays.

Meanwhile, thick fog and poor visibility caused Helijet to delay flights.
In the early morning, the helicopter transportation company placed all of their flights between Victoria and Vancouver on hold, though routes from Nanaimo remained open.
As of 9:15 a.m., Helijet had returned to its regular operations, though the company is advising passengers that delays or possible diversions may occur.
