This August long weekend saw tens of thousands of people gather at Vancouver Island’s Laketown Ranch in Cowichan Valley for the 19th annual Sunfest Country Music Festival.

For 2019, the organizers of this annual event pulled out all the stops, resulting in over 40,000 guests heading out to enjoy an abundance of country artists, beautiful campsite backdrops and crowd-pleasing activities, like their slip n’ slide.

Headlined by internationally renowned American country music singer, Jason Aldean, Sunfest also played host to other popular artists like Maren Morris, Kip Moore, Randy Houser, and others.
The island was rocked by country music tunes for 4 straight days, and the party came to a close on Sunday evening.
