There’s plenty of summery things to do today, like free outdoor movies, two outdoor markets, live music on a barge, and more!

Free-B 2019: Hook

Head down to the Cameron Bandshell at Beacon Hill Park for a free outdoor screening of the Robin Williams classic, Hook!

Hook follows the story of Peter Pan (Williams) returning to Never Land to rescue his children from Captain Hook, with the help of the Lost Boys. The movie is rated G, so feel free to bring the whole family down!

Market In The Square

Don’t miss the penultimate Market In The Square of the season!

The outdoor market takes place Market Square, right in the heart of downtown Victoria. Visitors can pursue a range of local vendors, grab a drink on the outdoor patio, listen to local live music, and more!

Victoria Gem & Mineral Show

Western Canada’s largest Gem show kicks off its three-day run in Victoria today!

The fifth annual Victoria Gem & Mineral Show will bring together over 45 of the top gem, mineral, and jewelry vendors from across Canada and showcase a range of unique gems, fine crystals, rare fossils, handmade jewelry, and more. Plus, there will be hourly door prizes!

Ship Point Market

Head over to the inner harbour’s Ship Point for a weekly-weekend market full of high-quality artist-made goods, delicious food trucks, and some of Victoria’s finest local musicians!

Yacht Rock on the Breakwater Barge

The Breakwater Barge is continuing its wildly popular 2019 season!

Tonight’s live music headliners is Yacht Rock, a DJ who specializes in late 1970s and early 1980s hits. Visitors can also expect the usual delicious local food trucks and drinks from Driftwood Brewery, Phillips Brewing & Malting Co., Hoyne Brewing Company & Artisan Wine Shop AWS.
