Happy Miracle Treat Day!
When you get yourself a Dairy Queen Blizzard to cool off on this balmy summer day, all proceeds will be donated to the BC Children’s Hospital Foundation.
Dairy Queen is bringing back their annual Miracle Treat Day today, Thursday August 8th, which means that every purchase of a Blizzard will add to the amount the company contributes to the BC Children’s Hospital Foundation.

“Over 93,000 kids in BC receive care from BC Children’s Hospital each year, and the community donations we receive are critical to helping provide the best health care imaginable for these children,” says Maria Faccio, vice president of philanthropy at BC Children’s Hospital Foundation.
“We are immensely grateful for the generous support we receive from Dairy Queen and the British Columbians who make Miracle Treat Day possible.”
Last year, Dairy Queen stores across BC raised over $460,000 for BC Children’s, and over the years, the fast food chain has donated more than $7.1 million to the hospital.
BC Children’s Hospital conducts ground breaking research and provides specialized care and innovative therapies for BC’s kids, including the sickest and most seriously injured. Donor funds help take this expert care to even greater heights.
