Victoria police issued a Tweet Thursday afternoon warning of an accident in downtown Victoria that will likely cause traffic disruptions for motorists.

At approximately 3:15 p.m., two vehicles collided at the intersection of Blanshard and Fisgard Street.

According to witnesses, there appears to be no injuries caused by the collision. However, both vehicles require a tow truck to remove them from the scene, causing delays on the major downtown streets.

Police have told Victoria buzz that it is unlikely there are any injuries related to the crash, though the investigation is still in its “very early stages”.

Further updates on the collision likely won’t be released until later today or tomorrow, according to VicPD.
