Saanich Police are currently investigating an incident in the 100 block of Crease Avenue which will result in traffic being re-routed.
Saanich police released statement just before 11 a.m. Saturday stating the area will be closed for an extended time.
The area of closure includes the intersection of Seaton Street and the Galloping Goose Regional Trail – it is shut down to all vehicular, pedestrian and bicycle traffic.
Anyone requiring re-routing on the Galloping Goose Trail is advised to use Cadillac Avenue from Tillicum Road to Harriet Road where they can return to the trail.
No other details were released by police, however, there are unconfirmed reports a body was discovered outside a home near Wascana Street.
