Victoria Police have arrested a suspected drug dealer and seized a large amount of cash, drugs, and weapons from his residence.

An investigation into this individual began in July after community complaints about suspected drug dealing in the area of Ecole Victor Brodeur in Esquimalt.

Police obtained a search warrant for the suspect’s residence on August 26th and the next day, VicPD and Greater Victoria Emergency Response Team arrested him without incident in the 100-block of Wilson Street.

Officers found a multitude of weapons on his person including a hand gun, ammunition and several knives.

  • various amounts of suspected drugs
  • cash
  • a loaded shotgun
  • several replica firearms
  • a taser
  • a crossbow
  • various other weapons

The suspect is set to appear in court today and police are recommending 10 charges to Crown Counsel, with the probability of additional charges once all seized items are processed.
