On July 4th, officers from VicPD’s Strike Force section and the Greater Victoria Emergency Response Team were deployed to the 200-block of Gorge Road East.
Pelgrom was then taken into custody without incident and police conducted a search of his person. During the search, officers discovered a loaded 9mm caliber pistol along with two loaded pistol magazines and additional ammunition, a total of $25,000 in cash, and drugs including fentanyl, cocaine, and methamphetamine.
According to police, Pelgrom has alleged links to organized crimes and “self-identified to officers as a member of the Nortenos gang.”
He now faces seven charges, including possession of a firearm without a license, possession of a loaded prohibited weapon, careless storage of a firearm, and possession for the purpose of trafficking.
