Victoria police issued a tweet Thursday afternoon warning of traffic disruptions near the Gorge Waterway following a stabbing on the Galloping Goose trail.
The incident occurred at around 4 p.m. in the 300-block of Waterfront Cresent.
According to police, paramedics transported one man to the hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries. His current condition is unknown.
Police say one male suspect is still at large, and officers along with multiple K9 units are in the area searching for him and gathering information for their investigation.
Commuters should expect traffic disruptions in the area as police conduct their search.
