Victoria International Wine Festival 

Have you ever wondered how to pick the perfect bottle of wine? Look no further!

Not only is the Victoria International Wine Festival returning for another year – happening September 19th-21st – they’ve offered up some fantastic tips on how you can select the finest vino.. and you don’t even have to be a wine expert!

Enjoy all things wine with over 300 wines from 11+ countries.

Vintage Halloween Fair

It’s Victoria’s very first Vintage Halloween Fair!

Two floors of retro costumes, vintage styles, spooky accessories, obscure oddities, and more. Be early to prepare for next month’s festivities.

Wayne’s World Under the Maltworks  

Beer, food, and Wayne’s World. Excellent! To mark the 25th anniversary of the Mike Myer’s classic film, join the fun, bring your own chair and blanket, and prepare to quote the iconic film.

Children’s Story Festival 

Celebrate the 16th year of Esquimalt’s Story Festival with an amazing line-up of storytellers that will be fun for all those young and young at heart.

Thirfty’s and Raincoast Dog Rescue Awareness event

If you’re in the market for a new furry companion or looking to donate to a cause that supports them, this is the event for you. There will be fresh food, adorable dogs, and the Raincoast team will be there to answer any of your questions.

Market Square Huge Bike Sale

Need a new set of wheels? New and used bikes will be for sale at this event, along with live music and refreshments.

Drag Bingo – Back 2 School Edition

Electra Socket returns to present a back to school edition of Drag Bingo and Pride Society Fundraiser.

Lightning McQueen will be at Western Speedway

Brewery & the Beast Victoria 2019

Enjoy meaty dishes from over 60 chefs and live music courtesy of The Electric Timber Company with special guests.

There will also be fruit and vegetable stands, as well as, beer provided by Phillips Brewery and local ciders.

Community Costume Swap & Shop

Actors, stage performers, or just anyone who loves costumes – all are welcome to shop and/or swap. For those just looking to browse, there will also be beer and cocktails available.

The VILLAGE x Breakfast2Music Pajama Party

A breakfast event while you’re still in your pajamas that is also for a great cause. Portions of proceeds from this party will be donated to @breakfast2music which feeds hungry children in Victoria school districts.

The Showdown Dance Off 2019 

10 performers from around Victoria each bring their signature styles to awaken your inner dancer. The event will also feature a special performance by Stand-Up Showdown Runner Up Sammy Ray Benty.

Rhythm of the Oceans – Sound Capture Workshop 

This exciting and educational workshop for the whole family! Join music producer Alan Donnelly to learn about micro-plastics, and find ways to make percussive sounds from reclaimed ocean debris collected by the Ocean Legacy Foundation.
