Suspecting that the man was in possession of bear spray, police approached him and began searching for the weapon.

In the process, they discovered several other weapons including two cans of bear spray, two knives, and an electric stun gun.

The man was also found carrying drugs packed for trafficking, including fentanyl, methamphetamine, and GHB. Police seized all of these items along with several cell phones and approximately $2,000 in cash.

Officers are now recommending 11 charges against the man, including possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, possession of a controlled substance, four counts of possession of a prohibited weapon, one count of possession of break-in tools, and four counts of possession of a weapon in violation of a probation order.

He was held in custody before appearing in court today.
