Nanaimo RCMP are seeking public assistance in their search for a suspect who stole an undisclosed amount of cash from the Living Forest Campground on Maki Road.
Police attended the campsite at around 6:20 p.m. on Wednesday October 2nd after staff advised them of the theft.
The male suspect was seen on video surveillance walking into the main office and then allegedly taking an undisclosed amount of cash from a small canister.
He is described as a Caucasian man in his mid-40s, with shaggy dark hair and a beard and moustache.
At the time of the incident, he was wearing grey pants and a distinctive red, white and black shirt.
