These gas stations in Victoria have cheaper prices than average right now

Share

No, you are not imagining things.

Gas prices around the Greater Victoria area did really jump 18 cents overnight and it appears this price tag will stick around for the foreseeable future.

Earlier this year, BC Premier John Horgan launched an investigation into rising gas prices in the Province, but with the costs still elevating, the lack of answers are leaving motorists empty, both financially and literally.

According to GasBuddy, most stations around the region are currently idling at 157.9 a litre.

However, there are several stations on the outer core of the city offering lower rates at the time of publication. They are:

  • West Shore: Costco – 799 McCallum Road near Millstream Road – Price: 137.4
  • Saanichton : Pump –  1518 Stelly’s Crossroad – Price: 141.7
  • View Royal: Esso – 1510 Admirals Road & Craigflower – Price: 156.9

According to analysts, the post-Thanksgiving hit is not expected to subside for the foreseeable future.

Make sure to check GasBuddy before heading out!
