Festival of Trees Victoria

The Festival of Trees is back at the Bay Centre!  A community tradition that has become the unofficial kick-off to the holiday season in Victoria. Head down to the Bay Centre, grab your favourite holiday beverage, and tour the trees that have been beautifully decorated.

Support BC Children’s Hospital by making a donation and voting for your favourite tree–you. Funds raised through this event help meet the most critical health needs of kids in BC.

  • When: Trees are on display until January 6 during opening hours

Drag, Queers & Beers 3

The Phillips Brewing Tasting Room is turning into a runway with performances from three of the city’s hottest drag artists. Hosted by the dynamic duo of Victoria’s bearded theatre queen, Woofie Goldberg, and the zest, the spunk, the spicy funk that is Vivian Vanderpuss, and featuring the goth dance party stylings of Pop Tart, this event will have plenty of drag party vibes to lift your spirits and get you grooving.

Sci-Fi and Fantasy Trivia Night

Blending genres and covering a variety of texts, this is one trivia night where you’re sure to know at least one answer. Join us in David Turpin C126 for a night of sci-fi and fantasy fun!

There will be FREE pizza and pop, as well as prizes. Our grand prize up for grabs: a 20$ Gift Card for Russel’s Books for each member of the team!

2020 Budget Townhall – Have Your Say!

Let City Council know what you think of the 2020 Draft Financial Plan. Want to see more money go to the housing reserve fund? Perhaps you’d like to see more money go into mental health and addictions support?
