“This past Thursday, Colin turned 70 years old and had a birthday party with his family and was excited to be heading out fishing the next day,” writes his son, Bill Court.

“Colin has been known to go fly fishing all over Vancouver Island in all kinds of weather and loves his fly fishing for many years now.”

Crews have been conducting searches throughout the weekend and, after pausing at night, have resumed their search on Monday morning.

Anyone with tips on Court’s whereabouts or information that might help SAR crews is asked to contact Lake Cowichan RCMP at 250-749-6668.
