Saanich Police are investigating reports of a sexual assault at Mount Doug Park.
According to acting Staff Sgt. Damian Kowalewich, the incident was reported to police at around 11 p.m. on Thursday November 7th.
Officers say there is no risk to the public, and the two individuals are believed to have been known to each other.
There is no information about whether the victim sustained any physical injuries, and police will not be revealing any further details at this time.
A/ Staff Sgt. Kowalewich told Victoria Buzz that there may be an update on this investigation next week.
