This Sunday, November 10th, all Mr. Lube locations across the province will be showing appreciation to Canadian Forces veterans in the form of free oil changes.
Veterans can visit any of British Columbia’s 23 locations, including four on Vancouver Island, to receive a free warranty-approved oil change.
The program was first implemented in Kelowna in 2014 by Franchise Owner, Darren Pierce, and was so well received by the community that Mr. Lube decided to continue the program.
To receive a free oil change, veterans or current military individuals will be required to provide service ID or have a BC Veterans license plate.
In addition to the free oil changes, $2 from every oil change on Sunday will go towards Canadian veterans.
According to Mark Cookson, owner of the Victoria and Colwood locations, his crew were able to do 214 free oil changes between the two locations last year, and they’re anticipating to do even more this year.
