Free Christmas Cactus plant giveaway at the Bay Centre
Indulge in some self-care today and enjoy a free gift courtesy of the Bay Centre! The first 200 guests to stop by the Bay Centre’s Winter Wonderland exhibit in Centre Court will get one FREE Christmas Cactus plant.
Victoria Buzz will be on location to celebrate the festive season, so stop on by, say hi, and grab your free cacti – see you there!

Christmas Night Market at the Victoria Public Market
Every Thursday over the holiday season, the Victoria Public Market is open until 8 p.m. so that shoppers can enjoy dinner, shopping, live music, and participate in a holiday wreath-making workshop.
All regular vendors are open, and beer, wine, and mulled wine is available to purchase and drink to increase your sense of holiday cheer.

Colwood Christmas Light-Up
Colwood City Hall officially lights up for the holidays tonight, celebrated with music by local school choirs, steaming hot chocolate, hot dogs, and other mouthwatering treats.
There will be fun craft activities for kids, led by volunteers from West Shore Parks and Recreation to keep your little ones busy while they eagerly await Santa’s arrival by fire truck.

James Bay Children’s Chorus Winter Concert
James Bay Children’s Chorus presents their Winter Concert, a culmination of several weeks of wonderful cooperation, hard work, and fun!
This year, the Children’s Chorus welcomes guest soloist, Irina Kim, to join the forty-minute long concert. Admission is by donation, and helps the continuation of Victoria’s cutest choir!

Choirs in the Square
This December, enjoy a seasonal sampling of choirs from across Greater Victoria in the Central Branch courtyard, one of the city’s sweetest acoustic spots.
Wrap up well (the courtyard is outside!) and drop in today to enjoy the sweet a cappella musings of South Island Harmony, the only men’s Barbershop chorus in the city of Victoria.
