Here’s how you can be a part of Centennial Square’s ‘Lights of Wonder’ this winter

Share

As the festive season is in full swing, there are many ways to lend a helping hand in our community, like volunteering for Lights of Wonder, the massive light display that will be transforming Centennial Square this week.

This free, fully accessible, all-ages experience weaves arches, trees, and unique structures for you to wander in wonder with your family, friends, love, self… even your dog!

The joy begins this Friday, December 20th and will run from 4:00 p.m. until January 4th, 2020, closed on the 25th and the 31st. Lights of Wonder is the Downtown Victoria Business Association and downtown Victoria businesses’ gift to all of us this year, next year and for years to come.

But all of this doesn’t happen by magic – which is why they’re looking for volunteers to join them under this stunning canopy of lights!

If you’re interested in lending a helping hand, you can register online right now!

For more info, you can also check out the volunteer FAQ.

By volunteering, you’ll get yourself a sweet toque, meet tons of people during the most wonderful time of the year, and have the opportunity to work in four hour shifts – all while enjoying the splendor that is Lights of Wonder.

Between December 20th and January 4th (except Christmas and New Years’ Eve, when the display will be closed), Victorians can attend the holiday display for free, unlike similar events in Seattle and Vancouver which charge visitors for entry.
