The season to celebrate friends and family is upon us and one Oak Bay restaurant has just the right holiday fix – without breaking the bank!
From December 4th to 31st, White Heather Tea Room is inviting people to try their Holiday Tea Party feature menu with the whole experience ranging from $26-$45 per person.

Their menu features a selection of four three-tiered holiday tea platters, each featuring a variety of scrumptious hors d’oeuvres that are sure to leave you satisfied to the core.
Victoria Buzz was invited to sample one of these meals, alongside a host of local food writers and bloggers, and not one person left the table without commenting on the elegant display, the delightfully innovative flavours, and easygoing atmosphere at the family-run restaurant.
Crowd favourites include a thin, crispy version of the classic biscotti, their crumbly matcha shortbread cookies, curry chicken stuffed into a flakey shell, and the highlight of the afternoon: whipped salmon mousse piped into buttery, layered phyllo cups.
Of course, a holiday tea isn’t complete without actual tea – and they’ve got a wide selection of those for patrons to choose from.
One of our favourites was the ‘Mad Hatter’ tea, infused with notes of vanilla, pomegranate, passion fruit, and papaya – which sounds like an unlikely fusion, but tingles the tastebuds like no other warm beverage we’ve tried before!
The White Heather Tea Room holiday tea party is arranged in three seatings of 90 minutes each between 10:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. for the remainder of the month.
After launching the experience for the first time on Wednesday, the eatery has been packed with patrons waiting to taste the festive holiday treats for themselves.
