Comox Valley RCMP are investigation a possible arson incident in Courtenay.
At around 1:30 a.m. on December 4th, Comox Valley RCMP attended a house fire on the 2000-block of Stewart Avenue.
While the exact cause of the fire is currently under investigation, police do not believe it is accidental in nature.
One person was home at the time of the fire and was able to escape safely.
