This holiday season, one Victoria business is looking to get local kids to embrace an active lifestyle by helping them participate in organized sports.
The REINVESTORS – a for-purpose investment and education company created by Steve Arneson and Randy Molland – is hosting their 4th annual holiday fundraiser focused on raising $10,000 for KidSport Greater Victoria.
KidSport is a local non-profit organization that helps kids from low-income families participate in organized sports and physical activities.
According to their website, funds raised locally are spent locally and distributed in the form of registration fees for kids to spend a “season of sport”.
To help them with their philanthropic endeavours, the RE Investors have planned a charitable and fun-filled event geared towards reaching their fundraising goal.
A gala to remember
Tickets to their annual gala cost just $25 – less for couples or groups – and the event features a live auction with fabulous items like a two-night stay at Black Rock Oceanfront Resort in Ucluelet, or a signed Men’s Rugby Canada jersey from the 2020 Olympic team up for grabs.
Guests at the gala will also be treated to finger food, live entertainment from local singer and guitarist, Phil Dickson, door prizes, games, and delectable holiday season cocktails.
The whole event will be set against the backdrop of their unique and chic venue – the million dollar classic car restoration shop on John Street, Coachwerks.
