If there ever was a day to treat yourself to a breakfast sandwich combo, this is it!
Artisan Bistro located in Broadmead Village is hosting a ‘Breakfast for the Kids’ event between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. on Tuesday, December 10th.
Patrons can devour the cafe’s scrumptious breakfast sandwich paired with a coffee for $10, with all proceeds being donated to the Victoria General Hospital.
These contributions will then be used to fund the purchase of vital signs monitors in the pediatric and neonatal Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at the hospital.
Plus, $1 from the sale of every breakfast sandwich combo at the bistro going forward will also be donated to the same cause.
According to the VGH, these ICUs are in need of 40 new pieces of patient monitoring equipment.
Those who attend the event at Artisan Bistro can choose from a selection of candied bacon, maple sausage, smoked ham, or pork belly from Berryman Farms in Victoria. You can also choose to substitute the meat for avocado.
There will also be a host of prizes and giveaways on site, so don’t miss it!
