A driver allegedly under the influence of narcotics was arrested after driving into a Honda Pilot and a cyclist on Sooke Road.

The incident occurred on Wednesday January 8th, at approximately 5:50 p.m.

The 48-year-old woman was driving a 2007 BMW heading westbound near the 2100-block of Sooke Road when she rear-ended a 2016 Honda Pilot. She then drove around the Pilot and proceeded to crash into a cyclist.

The cyclist was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries and is expected to recover. Nobody in the Honda Pilot suffered any significant injuries.
