Many people on southern Vancouver Island reported feeling an earthquake on Friday afternoon.
According to USGS, a 4.5 magnitude quake was detected at 1:35 p.m. around 47 km south east of Ucluelet, located in western Vancouver island.
Earthquakes Canada is currently reporting it as a 4.4 magnitude earthquake.
No tsunami is expected to hit the island as a result.
