West Shore RCMP is asking for the public’s help to identify a sexual assault suspect.
Police say on April 14, 2019, at approximately 3 a.m., a 22-year-old woman was sexually assaulted by an unknown man near the 300-block of Cooper Road while she was walking home from a party.
“Thus far the West Shore RCMP Serious Crimes Unit has followed up on many leads and avenues of investigation. We are now seeking the public’s assistance in hopes that someone will recognize and identify the male suspect,” said Cpl. Barrow, West Shore RCMP Serious Crimes Unit.

The suspect is depicted in the composite sketch below and is described as;
- Indigenous male in his early 20’s
- Dark brown/black hair
- Approximately 6 feet tall
- Weighing 170-180 lbs
- Average build
