Schwey live at Lucky Bar

Schwey is a Vancouver band created out of necessity by Jacob Schwinghammer and Isaiah Dobbs. In its formative years, underground DIY venues were the only option for underage people to have a good time. The band crafted their soulful sound in the diverse yet unified underground scene, having to compete with the high energy of punk bands and clarity of rappers and DJs.

Four Rounds of Random Trivia for all skill levels (movies, music, sports, geography, things found at 7-11, they mix it up). Teams of 8 max can join forces as 1. Teams of 3 or less start each round with a BONUS point.

Tuesday Night Jazz at the Church

James Bay United Church and the Victoria Jazz Community have partnered together to created an accessible music venue that you can walk to right in your neighbourhood. With the help of local jazz legend Kelby MacNayr, they’re bringing some of the best of the best in the Victoria jazz scene to the heart of James Bay – venue without distractions – where the focus is you, the music and the sacred space to listen.
