Netflix has started to roll out a new ‘Top 10’ feature to help viewers reach the most popular movies and shows on the platform in their country.
In a statement released on Monday, the streaming giant stated that this new feature will be updated daily and the position of the row will vary depending on how relevant the shows and films are to each viewer.
Besides the overall list, you can also see the top 10 most popular series and top 10 films when you click on the movies and TV shows tabs.
Shows and films that make the list will also be given a special ‘Top 10’ badge whenever they appear on the platform.
The company stated that they have been experimenting with this new feature for the past six months in Mexico and the UK and are now ready for a full rollout.
“When you watch a great movie or TV show, you share it with family and friends, or talk about it at work, so other people can enjoy it too,” said Cameron Johnson, Netflix spokesperson, in a statement.
“We hope these top 10 lists will help create more of these shared moments, while also helping all of us find something to watch more quickly and easily.”
