A new pop-up café and food truck park has been unanimously approved by Colwood Council on February 10th.
Proposed by GableCraft homes, this pop-up refreshment area was conceptualized to give residents of Royal Bay closer access to food and beverages as soon as possible.
The approved permit is valid for three years and allows the developer to construct the café at 365 Latoria Boulevard in Royal Bay.
This temporary establishment will serve the community until construction of the Royal Bay Commons commercial village concludes.
According to GableCraft, the space will offer coffee and light fare, outdoor seating, and walk-up and drive-thru access, as well as a small food truck court.
The café is expected to open in early 2020 with Sequoia Coffee, a local partnership between 2% Jazz and Truffles Catering.
