The Victoria Royals have officially announced tonight, that for the ninth season in a row, they have clinched playoff berth in the WHL Playoffs.

The announcement follows an overtime loss by the Prince George Cougars this evening, who currently sit in fifth place in the BC Division.

The Royals are slotted at second place in the BC Division as it stands, with the Kamloops Blazers holding the coveted number one spot.

Victoria holds 67 points (30-21-5-2), with 10 games still left to play in the regular season. The second and third place teams in the BC Division will meet in the first round of the WHL Playoffs.

This marks the Victoria Royals’ 13th time making the playoffs in their franchise history.

Playoff game dates, opponents and times are still all to be determined at this time, but the Royals’ 2020 Playoff Ticket Packages will go on sale tomorrow! A $75 per-seat deposit guarantees the same seat for all playoff home games, as well as a discounted rate on all standard ticket rates.
