It was at a black-tie gala event in Vancouver – celebrating the best and brightest in the world of hair and beauty – that the shop’s owner, Felice Iorio accepted the award and the honur of the top title, and credits a lot of his success to professionalism, consistency, and powerful partnerships.
“We started our business 35 years ago in Broadmead, with the idea that we aren’t cutting hair for clients – we’re providing style and beauty to our friends and guests,” said Felice Iorio.
“I built the business snip-by-snip, and while I may not be behind the chair anymore, I know what it’s like, and I appreciate what my team of professionals do every day.”
Salon Felice operates as an AVEDA Lifestyle store – meaning they have access to the full line of AVEDA products.
“We strive to be environmentally conscious in the shop and through our partners,” explained Felice.
“Our location in Uptown is in a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED)-Certified building, and through our partnership with Aveda we are involved in improving the environment: using plant-based products and sponsoring socially conscious events, such as Earth Month in partnership with WaterAid, to bring clean water and basic hygiene to people in need.”
