It’s another March Monday!

It’s also a movie Monday AND an open mic Monday, and with a lineup like this of fun events to explore, we’re definitely looking forward to the week ahead.

Orcas & Eco – Comedy Night

Join us as author, filmmaker and orca activist Mark Leiren-Young talks about the past, present and future of the critically endangered southern residents and what we can and should do to help them.

Celluloid Slime #25 : Monday Mystery Movie Night at Logans Pub

Tape Heads Victoria mystery movie night brings you the worst of the best in trash cinema. celluloid slime is a bi-weekly movie night where the picks are a mystery, but the entertainment level is high. Ranging from cult classics to VHS oddities to campy nightmares, and everything in between.

  • When: 8 p.m. – 10 p.m.

Unplugged Open Mic

Come out for a night of good ol’ community fun. Sing a song, read a poem, do some magic, whatever you like. Just don’t plug anything in, okay?
Hosted by Gino Marrelli, known around town as that guy who sings in Italian, this open mic is totally beginner friendly and totally open to anyone who has been around the open mic block a few times before.

  • When: 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.

A Taste of Victoria Food Tours

This 2-hour tour begins at the Victoria Public Market and includes stops at The Gates of Harmonious Interest, Fan Tan Alley, Market Square, Bastion Square, Trounce Alley, Government St., and the Inner Harbour Causeway. Depending on the day, there are between 6-8 tastings along the route, as we discuss the history and quirks of beautiful Victoria, B.C.  Tastings can include bread, pierogis, meatballs, craft beer, macarons, chocolate, and much more!
