From comedy shows to music bingo and so much more, this Thursday holds almost as much promise as the weekend ahead!
The Bajaja Comedy Show
This is going to be a super sick show with some of Victoria’s most hilarious comedians. The show is at Sonora Bar & Grill, a brand new Mexican restaurant on Yates st. Tacos and laughs, there isn’t a more perfect combination!

Music Bingo For VIDEA
This event was put together by a group of Camosun College students, with all of the proceeds going towards VIDEA. VIDEA is a local not-for-profit organization that works across Africa to support communities in poverty. All of the proceeds from this event will be going towards helping underprivileged Zambian youth attend The Rural Youth Exposure Conference.

Museum Happy Hour: Strike A Pose
Join us on the second Thursday of the month for themed events and activities for adults. Drinks and light fare are available for purchase. Events are limited to designated galleries and are not museum-wide.

A photography-themed party in honour of Wildlife Photographer of the Year. Taking place in the Natural History gallery.

Eve of Empowerment
Join us at the Victoria Event Centre for an “Eve of Empowerment” to witness the wonder of some of Victoria’s most talented women, including aerial and pole artists performing on stage, and local artist Richelle Clapp’s fantastical RayGunGirl Designs fashion show. Try your luck in our silent auction featuring a variety of local goods and services ranging from massage, to dinners out, to aerial studio passes and enjoy some free appies and refreshments. There will also be bar service available for those who are 19+ with ID.

VBW 2020: Pucker Up
Perhaps you drool over traditional Belgian-style sour ales that have been fermented in barrels or oak foeders. Or maybe you crave contemporary kettle sours, a tart n’ salty Gose, or the funky tang of Brettanomyces in your beer. Sounds like you are a sour beer fan. Or maybe you haven’t explored the realm of sour beers very much yet. Either way, Pucker Up is the event for you!
