Comedy Night @ the Mint

The funniest way to spend a Wednesday is Phillips Comedy Night at The Mint! Each week Morgan Cranny and Drew Farrance bring the most hilarious comedian’s in the city together for a wonderful evening of food, drink and fun!

The Truffles Group Hiring Fair

The Truffles Group is a collection of rapidly growing businesses with a big vision. Locally owned and operated, we are a people-powered group of companies devoted to changing the way people think about Vancouver Island’s hospitality, tourism and beverage retail industries.

What you need: Resume and cover letter for the position you are applying for and be prepared to be interviewed on the spot. Dress code is business casual.

Advanced Soap Making – Landscape

Each advanced workshop will include a speedy recap of our beginner’s workshop feature a special soap technique and participants will create a more elaborate soap, specifically a landscape design.

This workshop is fun, informative, creative and fast-paced two hours!

Lattes for Literacy

Participating cafés will donate a portion of their coffee sales to Story Studio Writing Society.  Every dollar donated will go directly to Story Studio for their in-school and community programs and will be generously matched by a local not-for-profit organization.
