44-year-old Nanaimo resident Carol Rosher will be representing Vancouver Island as one of the contestants on Season 8 of Big Brother Canada.
Rosher, a disability caregiver, is one of 16 people who will be staying at an isolated home filled with cameras in the reality TV show whose premise is to not get kicked out by fellow housemates.
The winner gets a grand prize of $100,000, $10,000 worth of groceries, and a vacation for two anywhere in the world.
Most of the competitors in the latest season of Big Brother Canada hail from Ontario where the show is filmed, and Rosher is the only houseguest from Vancouver Island.
According to her bio, Rosher’s strategy for enduring is to “come in like a lamb, go out like a lion”. She describes herself as loyal, fun, and unpredictable.
Season 8 of Big Brother Canada will begin airing on Global TV at 7 p.m., Wednesday March 4th.
