West Shore RCMP have released photos Tuesday of the suspect vehicle in the fatal shooting of a Langford woman.

Police released the photos in hopes of locating people who may have seen a gold 2002 Pontiac Sunfire between 4:30 p.m. on March 6th and 9:00 a.m. on March 7th – or captured footage of the vehicle on dashcam.

If you saw the vehicle or have footage, you’re asked to contact the Vancouver Island Integrated Major Crime Unit (VIIMCU) at 250-380-6211.

Just after 9:30 p.m. on Friday, March 6th, West Shore RCMP responded to reports of a shooting in the 800-block of Arncote Ave in Langford.

Officers arrived to find 40-year-old Angela Dalman, a single mother with a teenage son, suffering from gunshot wounds. She later succumbed to these injuries.

Police identified 35-year-old Anthony Dheensaw as a suspect in the shooting, but he had fled the scene in a vehicle before police arrived.

Police were able to locate him the following morning. He has been charged with second-degree murder in Dalman’s death.

He was also charged with the attempted murder of a 41-year-old man during the same incident.

A GoFundMe has been created to help support Dalman’s 16-year-old son. The page was set up by the victim’s sister, Kristy Dalman, to provide her nephew, Austin, with “funds to enable his future education and life goals”.
