You can now privately rent this downtown Victoria arcade for you and your squad

Ever wished you could have an entire arcade to yourself?

Well, that dream can now be a reality.

Quazar’s Arcade in downtown Victoria has reopened their doors, but only for a select few; patrons can now book the entire arcade for up to 20 pals for two-hour time slots, meaning you get the entire place — and all those games! — completely to yourself, with all games free to play during that time.

Though the arcade looks to reopen fully to walk-in traffic in July, for the month of June they’re operating on a rental-only basis.

Quazar’s does encourage the people in a group to be those in your current contact bubble, to ensure that guests don’t experience any new potential exposures.

With 45 games in the arcade to choose from and 3 separate entrances, there is ample room for 20 people to enjoy the arcade experience while still being able to maintain physical distance.

Also, if you want to ensure that your group maintains 2 meters (6 feet) of space, you’re able to select the ‘Extra Spacing Option’ at the time of reservation and the operators will turn off every second machine.

The arcade will be thoroughly disinfected between each rental, including all contact surfaces, bathrooms and games. All staff will be wearing face masks and gloves, and renters are encouraged to do the same.

With exclusive access to the entire 3,000 sq ft arcade, all of the games on the floor and all games free for play for the duration of your visit, it’s a no-brainer for young and old arcade-game lovers alike.

The cost is $350 per 2 hour time slot, and reservations can be booked online – and hey, the more pals you invite, the more you can split the cost!
