To celebrate this momentous occasion, here a host of fantastic events to get you ready for the weekend ahead.

As you head out to activities and events, please follow the restrictions and guidelines that these businesses require to keep their employees and patrons safe during the pandemic.

Food Truck Fridays at Sea Cider

Delicious eats from your favourite local food trucks! With 10 acres of farm, we have plenty of space for distancing. Their brand new cider garden is open on Fridays for this special occasion. Food Truck Fridays are the perfect way to kick-off your weekend!

Ashley Wey Jazz Night

Ashley has played piano since she was five years old and performed professionally since she was fifteen. She has gone on to perform and tour with a star-studded list of musicians, singers and entertainers around the world; touring with Canadian Idol winner Eva Avila, Juno Award winning Brandi Distrehaft, Mae Moore, The Parachute Club and four-time Grammy Award winner, Manny Kellough.

Queerudition: The LGBT+ Workshop Series

Queerudition is a series of workshops on a variety of topics held once every two months.

Snapshots of Canada Exhibit

Canada’s triumphs, failures and sacrifices are on display at Sidney Museum in a new travelling exhibition from the Canadian Museum of History and Canada’s History Society. Showcasing unforgettable images and thought-provoking texts, Snapshots of Canada will be presented from 16 July until 24 December, 2020.

Farm Fresh Fridays

Every Friday from 11am to 6pm, the Market will be filled with locally-grown produce and fruits, as well as fresh-cut local flowers, handcrafted soaps, jewlery and prepared foods. They’re bringing the farmers market to the downtown core of Victoria!
