VicPD are looking for a suspect in an indecent act that occurred in Cook Street Village Thursday evening.

Police say that a woman was driving on Cook Street just before 8:45 p.m. on July 16 and stopped to let a man cross the intersection at Oscar Street.

They say the man started to cross, stopped in front of her vehicle, turned to face her and exposed himself.

The man then fled the area. The driver was not physically harmed in the incident.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian man, 35 to 40-years-old, stands 5’10” tall with a medium build and weighs about 180 pounds.

He was wearing a black baseball cap backwards on his head, a black Under Armour brand shirt and black shorts.

The woman also says that the suspect ran from the scene with a distinctive, “tip-toe” stride that kept his heels from touching the ground.

Police are asking that anyone who recognizes this description or who has information about the incident call the VicPD non-emergency line at 250-995-7654, and press 1 for the report desk.

Those wishing to report anonymously can do so by calling Greater Victoria Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
