We’re giving away thirty $50 gift cards to Victoria’s Jam Cafe (CONTEST)

Share

If you’ve ever brunched in Victoria, then you know Jam Cafe.

A staple of the city for nearly 10 years, the local business boasts an incredible menu that has patrons lined up around the block almost every single morning – and for good reason!

Jam Cafe was created by a couple of local entrepreneurs in 2012 as a Southern breakfast style diner. The inspiration came from visiting numerous locations throughout North America and bringing the best of what they had experienced to Victoria.

Jam has a policy of no one ever leaving hungry after visiting their diner, and with their plethora of mouth-watering dishes, it’s easy to see why!

If you haven’t tried Jam Cafe for yourself, it’s a must! Thankfully, we’ve partnered with BC Dairy Association to give away THIRTY $50 gift cards to the well-loved breakfast spot, all while helping to support Food Banks BC in the process – contest details are below!

Jam Cafe sources and uses only Canadian dairy products for all menu items – from pancake batters to their famous milkshakes!

From the cream cheese icing atop their famed cinnamon bun pancakes to the buttermilk in their flaky biscuits and fried chicken, there’s no shortage of dairy-filled deliciousness to delight your senses.

Their feature dishes include delectable offerings such as Pulled Pork Pancakes, Huevos Rancheros, and in-house made buttermilk biscuits.

Jam’s first location was on Herald Street in downtown Victoria, and they have recently opened two other locations in Vancouver – one near Gastown and the other in Kitsilano.

After venturing into Vancouver, they hope to continue to expand to other parts of BC.

Since April of this year, BC dairy farmers have made a concerted effort to support communities in need as a result of COVID-19.

To-date, contributions have included a $175,000 in donations directly to Food Banks BC, and dairy product donations totaling 40,000 liters of milk, 5200 kg of cheese, and 2700 kg of butter.

BC Dairy Association is encouraging British Columbians to support their local community food businesses during the challenging times caused by COVID-19, as food-based businesses have been particularly hard-hit, and need the support of their communities more than ever.

In the past few weeks, we have highlighted a total of five businesses – small dairy processors, cheese crafters, ice cream makers, etc. – that use BC dairy to make their products.

BC dairy farmers will also donate $1 for every contest entry to Food Banks BC up to $20,000 inclusive of the entire BC Giveaway Series.
