Victoria Police searching for unique sports car involved in hit-and-run

Victoria Police are seeking public assistance in finding a unique sports car that was involved in a hit and run on Wednesday evening.

According to police, officers were called to the scene in the 400-block of Wilson Street at around 5:30 p.m. Wednesday August 26 for reports of a hit and run.

Reports say the distinctive sports car crashed into a residence, where there were two people at the time of the crash, and then drove away from the scene.

The driver is described as a Caucasian man, between 50 and 60 years of age and was wearing a black hat, a black t-shirt, and black, wire-framed glasses.

The vehicle is described as a 1960s era Ford AC Cobra with a black hood stripe, black lettering that reads “1097 AA/SP”, and “Dragonsnake” with a cartoon decal on the side.

No one at the scene was injured, and it is not clear whether any of the vehicle occupants were injured. The crash caused significant damage to the property.
