A Victoria Southeast Asian street food restaurant that has expanded to 21 locations across western Canada has launched a philanthropic initiative in place for one day.
On September 16, 30 per cent of all proceeds from Noodlebox Canada restaurants will be donated to he Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA).
The company has hosted this donation drive every September since 2014 and has raised over $90,000 for the CMHA over the past six years.
“The restaurant industry has been particularly hard hit during this year’s global pandemic, however Noodlebox passionately believes that our mental health has never been more important, and has committed to continue to give back even during these difficult times,” reads the statement from the company.
“Customers are encouraged to visit their local Noodlebox on September 16th to enjoy a meal to support critical mental health programs and education in their communities.”
All 21 stores are open for take-out service. Delivery is available through the Noodlebox app as well as third party providers like SkiptheDishes, UberEats and DoorDash.
