Police are seeking public assistance locating a stolen scooter that belongs to a B.C. Special Olympics athlete.
The scooter was stolen at approximately 4 p.m. on September 21 from outside of Hillside Mall.
It is described as a black, two-wheeled “FLJ” brand electric scooter, with off-road tires and a light on the front fender.
The serial number on the scooter is FLJ-HBC0287 and is located on the battery. There are other identifying numbers written on the front tire, pictured below:
The owner of the scooter is a 54-year-old man with a disability who depends on the scooter for transportation.
