West Shore RCMP looking to identify shoplifter who allegedly stole $1,500 worth of items

West Shore RCMP are seeking public assistance in identifying a shoplifter who allegedly stole some expensive goods from a local business.

According to a statement released Wednesday, the theft took place on August 14 at Lowes located at 850 Langford Parkway in Langford.

The suspect allegedly walked out of the store without paying for two separate 5-piece Dewalt Tool Kits worth a total of more than $1,500.

He is described as an adult man with tanned skin who, at the time of the incident, was wearing a white T-shirt, blue jeans, a camo baseball cap, and black rimmed glasses.

The suspect also had a full sleeve tattoo on his left arm and some tattoos on his right forearm and bicep and tricep area.

Police say they have followed up on several leads after this incident was reported but have still not been able to identify the suspect.
