With fall quite literally on our doorstep, we’re looking forward to everything that comes with it, including all of the cozy creature comforts we’re accustomed to.
In celebration of autumn and all things cozy, Victoria’s Bay Centre wants to bring you your very own moment of comfort – on them!
This giveaway highlights Chai Fashions beautiful home decor (we’ve all been spending a little more time at home as of late!) and includes a hand-crafted cushion, chic pouffe and creamy chai soy candle – contest details are below.
Let’s talk about Chai
Located in the Bay Centre, Chai Fashions is locally owned and operated, and was founded by designer Lindsay Jones’ love for fashion, the far east and travel.
Chai is committed to making beautiful clothing, home decor and much more – all in a conscientious fashion. They use many sustainable fabrics and strive to have a positive relationship with everyone who works to create their line.
The local retailer’s designs are sewn in India and Thailand, all to support small family run production houses that provide ethical working conditions and fair wages to their employees.
Designer Lindsay Jones originally created a simple clothing line to help out a local Indian family business struggling to make ends meet, and with their expertise in tailoring and her eye for fabrics and design, “Chai Fashions” was born; 10 years later the Indian family and Chai are thriving!
The dreamy prize package
Valued at $250, Chai Fashions’ prize package contains both a cushion and pouffe that are made by an artisan family in Jaipur, India; who have been creating home decor for generations!
This pouffe is made from Duri Cotton with a machine embroidered thread design, and the colourful designs are inspired by different mandalas that Lindsay sees in India.
Also included is one of their signature creamy chai candles, perfect for lighting on a cozy night in.
